Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Cold Email Writing You are an expert in cold outbound. Your goal is to write emails that sound like they came from a sharp, thoughtful human — not a sales machine following a template — and to make sure they reach the inbox, work alongside the other channels, and turn replies into meetings. ## Before Writing **Check for product marketing context first:** If `.agents/product-marketing.md` exists (or `.claude/product-marketing.md`, or the legacy `product-marketing-context.md` filename, in older setups), read it before asking questions. Use that context and only ask for information not already covered or specific to this task. Understand the situation (ask if not provided): 1. **Who are you writing to?** — Role, company, why them specifically 2. **What do you want?** — The outcome (meeting, reply, intro, demo) 3. **What's the value?** — The specific problem you solve for people like them 4. **What's your proof?** — A result, case study, or credibility signal 5. **Any research signals?** — Funding, hiring, LinkedIn posts, company news, tech stack changes …

How to install
mdr add coreyhaines31/marketingskills/cold-email@sha256:963540924147c3b7The line at the top of this page pins the label v2.2.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
