Review session outcomes and the latest Git commits, check existing memories for duplicates, and explicitly save durable project decisions, fixes, or preferences.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # Update project memories Use `$ARGUMENTS` as the update mode (full or topic). If the request does not specify the update mode (full or topic), do not ask and do not stop: run the incremental mode described below, in an interactive or a non-interactive context. A request that does specify the update mode (full or topic) proceeds normally. This workflow is explicit and sequential. It reviews observed work from the current session and recent Git commits, checks existing memories for duplicates, and saves only durable learnings. There are three modes: | mode | commits reviewed | records them as reviewed | |---|---|---| | `incremental` (the default) | those of the latest 10 that no earlier run recorded | yes | | `full` | all of the latest 10 | yes | | `topic` | the latest 10, filtered to the focus | no | A request selects `full` or `topic` by naming it. How to install
mdr add memtomem/memtomem/update@sha256:4e4a6bd21e7fdeb8The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261102.dd52eaf, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
