Internal skill: scan all concept files in an OKF bundle, choose between full and two-pass read mode based on bundle size, and return an index map. Called by okf:update, okf:reconcile, and okf:search.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
Scan the bundle root provided by the calling skill.
## 1. Run the scanner script (preferred)
Look for `scan_bundle.py` in these locations, in order:
1. `skills/_scan-bundle/scan_bundle.py` (relative to the current working directory)
2. `~/.claude/skills/_scan-bundle/scan_bundle.py`
If found and Python 3 is available, run:
```bash
python3 <path>/scan_bundle.py <bundle_root>
```
The script outputs JSON to stdout:
```json
{
"mode": "full | two-pass",
"count": 42,
"index": {
"group/concept.md": {
"type": "...", "title": "...", "description": "...",
"tags": [], "resource": "...", "timestamp": "...",
"body": "..."
}
}
}
```
Parse this output and use it as the result of this skill. Skip to §4.
## 2. Fallback A: Python inline (script not found, Python available)
If the script is not found but Python 3 is available, enumerate concept files with:
```bash
python3 -c "
import pathlib, json, sys
root = pathlib.Path(sys.argv[1])
…Read the whole file at its exact version.
How to install
mdr add siculo/okf-skills/okf:_okf-skill-scan-bundle@sha256:a1d5ecca0cefc2e9The line at the top of this page pins the label v1.2, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
