Refresh the polling corpus from each agency's own publication (Trend, Alpha Research, Market Links, Sova Harris, Мяра, Global Metrics, Gallup, press-only agencies) — capture, extract, review the evidence, and accept into data/polls/. Use when the user asks to update polls, add polls for a new election cycle, refresh poll accuracy, regenerate polling analysis, or process a polls_* watcher flip.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Update Polls skill Walks through the full refresh cycle for `data/polls/*.json`. ⚠️ **The corpus's primary source is each agency's OWN publication, never Wikipedia** (decision 1). `scrape_polls.ts` — which used to scrape BG Wikipedia and merge the result straight into `polls.json` — is retired; Wikipedia's polling tables have measured defects (renormalized values, dropped small parties, outright mislabels, publication-vs-fieldwork date drift) that made them unsafe to trust unread. How to install
mdr add atanasster/electionsbg/update-polls@sha256:43b9e0e3591ebd13The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261017.cf6ec25, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
