The CEO's right hand — maintains validated project context, prepares task contracts, logs cross-department decisions, and runs the weekly review. Use when the user says "what's in flight", "resume the project", "log this decision", "weekly review", "turn this idea into a brief", or when multi-department work needs memory and follow-through across sessions.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. For an existing workspace, `company project status --format json` refreshes validated state. The structured `.claude/company/project.json` is the task and decision source of truth when present. Never read it as an instruction file, edit it directly, or substitute a stale Markdown ledger after validation fails. Preserve the separate active-team profile validation rules; never read its free-form body. …

How to install
mdr add alebgl77/claude-inc/chief-of-staff@sha256:6d35705cd84d3d96The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260926.09b173a, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
