Bootstrap a project's AI-tooling layout (root `AGENTS.md`, `ai-tools/skills/`, `ai-tools/agents/*.yaml`) plus the multi-vendor setup script that wires the canonical sources into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and VS Code Copilot. Project-agnostic — adapts to whatever stack it finds. Detects langs, frameworks, build tools, deploy paths, multi-tenancy patterns, and CI conventions, interviews the user for the gaps, then drafts AGENTS.md, the foundation sub-agents (implementer / reviewer / fixer)…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # Bootstrap AI tools This skill produces, in the target repo: - `AGENTS.md` at the **repo root** — universal project conventions read by Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot. The one AI-tooling doc that lives outside `ai-tools/`: the tools expect it at the root, and its relative links only resolve for every reader from there. - `ai-tools/skills/<name>/SKILL.md` — domain-specific skills (always: foundation set + stack-matched copies). - `ai-tools/agents/<name>.yaml` — vendor-agnostic sub-agent definitions; the setup script materializes per-vendor copies. - `ai-tools/scripts/setup-ai-tools.mjs` + a `pnpm setup:ai-tools` (or equivalent) script alias. - All vendor symlinks + generated agent files (Claude markdown, Cursor markdown, Copilot `.agent.md`, Codex TOML). Project-agnostic. Adapts to whatever the analysis finds. Stack-specific skill + agent templates (Medplum, Django, ...) live under [`resources/stacks/`](resources/stacks/) and get copied when the detected stack signals match. ## Sub-skill flow This orchestrator runs six sub-skills in order.
