# Derive skills Author the project's `ai-tools/skills/<name>/SKILL.md` files. Skills are reusable instruction sets the agent invokes when a task matches their description. ## Output `ai-tools/skills/<name>/SKILL.md` for each skill. Some skills bring resources (templates, scripts) — those go under `ai-tools/skills/<name>/resources/`. ## Inputs 1. Inventory from [vinta-analyze-codebase](../vinta-analyze-codebase/SKILL.md), specifically `existing_ai_artifacts.skills` — every skill file already in the repo with name, description, classification (`vinta-managed` / `foundation-shape` / `project-custom`). 2. AGENTS.md from [vinta-write-agents-md](../vinta-write-agents-md/SKILL.md). 3.
