Author `ai-tools/agents/*.yaml` for the target project. Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Derive sub-agents Author the canonical YAML sources for the target project's sub-agents. Setup script reads these later and emits per-vendor variants (Claude `.md`, Cursor `.md`, Copilot `.agent.md`, Codex `.toml`). ## Output `ai-tools/agents/<name>.yaml` — one per sub-agent. Plus `ai-tools/agents/README.md` (schema doc) if not already present (copy from the bootstrap-defining repo). ## Inputs 1. Inventory from [vinta-analyze-codebase](../vinta-analyze-codebase/SKILL.md), specifically `existing_ai_artifacts.agents` — every sub-agent file already in the repo with its name, description, classification (`foundation-shape` / `stack-specialist` / `project-custom`). 2. How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
