Specify Kotlin or Java Arc commands and queries through real in-process pipelines with arc-testing — CommandScenario, QueryScenario, bounded ObservableQueryScenario collection, read-model pins, tenant resolution, and Chronicle append assertions. Use when writing or diagnosing JVM Arc pipeline specifications without Spring Boot or a kernel. Do not use for standalone Chronicle client tests, C# scenarios, or defining the command or query itself.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Specify Arc behavior on the JVM
Use generated artifacts through the real pipelines, not hand-written handlers
that bypass KSP wiring. `arc-testing` needs neither Spring Boot nor Docker.
This is test support, not an alternative production host.
## Verified product sources
Verified at `Arc.Kotlin v7.7.0`: `Testing/src/main/kotlin/io/cratis/arc/testing`
(`CommandScenario`, `QueryScenario`, `ObservableQueryScenario`, result assertions),
`Integrations/Chronicle/ChronicleCommandScenario.kt`, and
`Documentation/guides/testing.mdx`. Add
`testImplementation("io.cratis:arc-testing:7.7.0")`; align it with the runtime,
plugin and KSP version. The repository uses JUnit Jupiter `6.1.3`.

How to install
mdr add cratis/ai/cratis-arc-testing-kotlin@sha256:8e303f376661dbf0The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261012.0af903a, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
