Share files between agents, hosts and people through an AFP space (S3-compatible storage such as Garage). Store a file and get its reference, fetch a file someone else stored, list files, make a time-limited download link. Use when the user asks to share, send, upload, publish or download a file across agents or hosts, when a message carries an afp:// reference or a reference object, and for files too large or too long-lived for a message attachment.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Agent Files (AFP)
AFP gives agents one way to share files without a mounted folder. You put a file in a space (a bucket on an S3-compatible store), get back a reference, and send the reference. The receiver fetches the file from the same store and the SHA-256 is checked on the way. Every `afp-*.sh` command prints one JSON object and exits non-zero on failure, with `{"ok":false,"error":{"code":...,"message":...}}`.

How to install
mdr add 23blocks-os/ai-maestro-plugins/agent-files@sha256:51b1d23fbf01a060The line at the top of this page pins the label v0.1.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
