Authenticate an AI agent with an auth server using the Agent Identity (AID) protocol, with Ed25519 identity documents, proof of possession, OAuth 2.0 token exchange and scoped JWTs. Use when an agent must sign in to an AID-enabled server, get or refresh an access token, or prove its identity to an API. Self-contained; works without other protocols.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Agent Identity (AID) AID lets an agent sign in to an auth server with its own Ed25519 key instead of a shared secret. The agent registers its public key once; after that, each token request is a signed proof of possession exchanged for a short-lived JWT scoped to the agent's role. The `aid-*.sh` scripts handle keys, signing, discovery and caching. How to install
mdr add 23blocks-os/ai-maestro-plugins/agent-identity@sha256:929a7a8c4653d6b7The line at the top of this page pins the label v0.4.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
