Authors AGENTS.md and defines the skills-vs-docs boundary for a repo. Configures AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity CLI, Copilot) and the skills-as-docs philosophy. Use when creating or auditing AGENTS.md, setting up AI tooling for a project, or deciding what belongs in a skill versus docs/. Do NOT use for README structure -> use write-readme; for llms.txt generation -> use create-llms-txt; for Claude-specific skill features (invocation control, subagents, model overrides) -> use…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# AI Workflows ## Specifications | Convention | Spec | |------------|------| | SKILL.md | [Agent Skills Specification](https://agentskills.io/specification) | | AGENTS.md | [agents.md Standard](https://agents.md/) | | llms.txt | [llms.txt Specification](https://llmstxt.org/) | ## Skills vs Docs - **Skills** (`skills/<name>/SKILL.md`) = executable agent instructions. *How to do things* (conventions, workflows, tool usage) - **Docs** (`docs/`) = project documentation. *What was decided and why* (layout owned by `scaffold-docs`) - Both exist in every project; neither replaces the other - Every repo should also have: README.md (humans) + AGENTS.md (AI) + llms.txt (LLM discovery) - Root-level standard files stay at root; everything else goes in `docs/` (allowlist in `scaffold-docs`) ## AI Tools | Tool | Usage | |------|-------| | Claude Code (opus) | Primary AI coding assistant. Architecture, refactoring, multi-file edits | | OpenAI Codex | `workspace-write` "Auto" base config with a guardian auto-reviewer; ships writer, reviewer, plan, and guardian profiles/agents | …

How to install
mdr add urmzd/dotfiles/configure-ai@sha256:7b1787c769d8336fThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261029.73191d5, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
