Test my retention — quiz me on what I've learned so far. Trigger: quiz me, test me, check my understanding, what have I learned, review session.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
The user wants to test their retention. This is not a grilling session (plan-sharpening) — it is knowledge verification.
## SR-Powered Review Mode
If shared or private spaced-repetition card definitions exist (`learning-records/questions/*.jsonl` or `.user/learning-records/questions/*.jsonl`), check what's due first:

When cards are due, prefer surfacing them as conversational questions (the learner explains, you assess quality 0-5 and record via `review.py --review ID QUALITY`). This integrates naturally with the Socratic dialog below.
If the user asks to "review" or "practice" without specifying a topic, use due cards across all topics (interleaved). If they name a topic, filter to that topic.
## Quiz from Source Section
When the user says "quiz me on chapter 3" or "test me on the auth section" and `source-chunks/{domain}.json` exists:
1. Run `python tools/match_section.py source-chunks/{domain}.json "chapter 3"` to find matching chunks

How to install
mdr add smileynet/teach-me/quiz-me@sha256:1bb9478c28287551The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260917.3c3b555, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
