Recall memtomem memories created in a date range. Use for recent memories or requests scoped by day, week, month, source, or namespace.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Recall memories
Use `$ARGUMENTS` as the date range or recent-memory request.
If the request does not clearly specify the date range or recent-memory request, ask before calling a tool — and
in a non-interactive context (a subagent or scripted run with nobody to ask), do not
stall and do not guess: stop and report `insufficient_input` naming the missing date range or recent-memory request.
A request that does specify the date range or recent-memory request proceeds normally in either context.
Translate relative dates such as “last week” into `since` and `until` values when possible, then call `mem_recall`. Preserve any source, namespace, scope, or result-limit constraint from the request.
Present memories newest first with their creation date and source. Ask for a date range only when the request provides no usable temporal constraint. Use topic search, not recall, when the user is asking what a memory says rather than when it was created.
The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261006.4962545, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
