Debug REST, GraphQL, webhook, and OAuth/API-key integrations with layered request, auth, schema, and response checks.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # API Debug
Use this when an API returns the wrong status/body, auth fails, a webhook does not arrive, pagination is suspicious, GraphQL returns `errors`, or code works in one client but not another.
## Principle
Isolate the failing layer before changing code:
1. Connectivity
2. TLS and proxy behavior
3. Authentication
4. Request shape
5. Response parsing
6. Semantic correctness
7. Retry, timeout, and rate-limit behavior
## REST Checks
Use `curl` for the smallest repro. Keep tokens in environment variables and never paste full secrets into chat or logs.

GraphQL failures often return HTTP 200. Always inspect `errors`.

How to install
mdr add metaspartan/cybara/api-debug@sha256:9303ace4532004feThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260703.247aff5, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
