Use when progressing IC design through stages, checking module status, or routing rework decisions; not for single-stage execution or artifact authoring.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Design Flow
Coordinate module stages, rework and delivery through
`python3 <skill>/../../framework/scripts/kernel.py`, written `kernel.py` below.
`<skill>` is this skill's directory; `{module}` contains `events.jsonl`,
`intent/brainstorm.md` and the stage trees.
The kernel owns events and scheduling. Stage executors own their workdir artifacts and close
through the stage CLI, whether running in this conversation or in a subagent. While orchestrating,
use the kernel rather than editing events or stage results directly. Inspect source when needed
to understand an operation.
Use `kernel.py status --module {module}` to check current status. Command arguments are available
through `kernel.py <command> --help`.
## Run the work
Run the kernel loop:

For `DISPATCH`, invoke the returned `dispatch_args` through the kernel CLI. The response prepares
the workdir and identifies the executor; it does not start that executor.

How to install
mdr add chipweaver/veripower/design-flow@sha256:4b3356a569773dddThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261012.6f764c1, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
