Implement, review and run a module's functional testbench, diagnose verification failures and assess coverage; not for changing upstream RTL or requirements.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Functional Simulation
Establish whether the implementation meets the applicable behavior and coverage requirements.
The stage owner assesses source, reports and review evidence to reach the conclusion. Implement
or delegate focused work; use an independent reviewer for check adequacy.
Read `{workdir}/dispatch.json` for the current inputs and work scope. `intent`, `requirements`,
`plan`, `scaffold`, `check_hints`, `spec` and `rtl` provide original requirements, verification
strategy, boundary and implementation. Write under `{workdir}`; upstream artifacts are read-only.
Use the original algorithm/specification as the reference. Inspecting RTL to diagnose a failure
must not turn the implementation into its own expected behavior.

How to install
mdr add chipweaver/veripower/simulation@sha256:a89126bc12e0ce19The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260920.095d122, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
