Turn the current conversation context into a PRD and publish it to the project issue tracker.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
This skill takes the current conversation context and codebase understanding and produces a PRD. Do NOT interview the user — just synthesize what you already know. (For an interview-driven PRD authored from scratch and published to `docs/prds/NNNN-*.md`, use `orc:prd-writing` instead — see `orc:doc-writing` for the split.) The issue tracker and triage label vocabulary come from the tracker layer — if absent, run `/orc:setup`. ## Process 1. Explore the repo to understand the current state of the codebase, if you haven't already. Use the project's domain glossary vocabulary throughout the PRD, and respect any ADRs in the area you're touching. 2. Sketch out the seams at which you're going to test the feature. Prefer existing seams to new ones. Use the highest seam possible. If new seams are needed, propose them at the highest point you can. The fewer seams across the codebase, the better — the ideal number is one. Check with the user that these seams match their expectations. 3. How to install
mdr add higoralves/orc/to-prd@sha256:053a4302bf8cb5f7The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261020.7a1f356, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
