Draft or revise a related-work, background, or prior-art section in which every citation key already exists in the project bibliography. Use when the user asks to write related work, expand the background, group prior work by theme, position their contribution against existing work, or repair a section full of unresolved citations. Checks project_map unresolvedCites, adds verified entries before writing, and compiles until nothing is left unresolved.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Oleafly Related Work
A related-work section has one job: show where this work sits among what already exists, and why the gap it fills is a real gap. It is an argument, not an annotated bibliography. Paragraphs that open "Smith et al. proposed..." and close "...achieved good results" are a list with margins.
**The hard rule of this skill: never write a citation key that is not already in the project bibliography.** Not as a placeholder, not with a comment saying to fix it later, not because the paper obviously exists. An invented key either fails to compile or renders as a question mark that survives to submission. If you want to cite something that has no entry, stop and add the entry first (step 4).
## Step 1. Establish the target
Answer these before writing a sentence. Ask when you cannot infer it.
- Which file. `search_project` with `{"query": "Related Work"}` or `{"query": "\\section{Related"}` finds an existing section. `project_map` with `{}` returns `sections` with file and line for each, and `files` for the project structure.
- Whether this is a new section, a rewrite, or a repair of an existing one. A rewrite of the user's prose needs their agreement first.

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
