Ship code through the full delivery pipeline, with subcommands commit, pr, release, checks, and worktree. Handles semantic commits, pull requests with CI monitoring, tagged releases, pipeline diagnosis, and parallel worktree management. Use when user says "commit", "create a PR", "push", "release", "check CI", "pipeline status", "worktree", or wants to move code from working directory to production. For code review, use /review; for running tests, use /test; for planning, use /plan.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
## Overview Unified delivery skill for getting code from working directory to production. ## When to Use - The user says "commit", "create a PR", "push", "release", "check CI", "pipeline status", or "worktree". - Finished work needs semantic commits, a pull request, a tagged release, or a CI diagnosis. - Several tasks need parallel worktrees, or a worktree's task is ready to deliver. For reviewing a change, use `/review`; for running the suite, use `/test`; for human review comments on your own PR, use `/respond`; for merging and deploying, use `/deploy`. ## Process | Invocation | Action | |-----------|--------| | `/ship` or `/ship commit` | Create semantic commits (default) | | `/ship pr` | Create or update a pull request | | `/ship release` | Create a tagged release with changelog | | `/ship checks` | Monitor CI/CD pipeline and diagnose failures | | `/ship worktree` | Manage git worktrees for parallel development | If no subcommand is given, default to `commit`. --- ## commit Analyze all uncommitted changes and create semantic commits following the conventional commit format. ### When to use - After completing a task and ready to save progress. …

How to install
mdr add gufranco/claude-engineering-rules/ship@sha256:166b96f1effed96aThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261029.b4f976b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
