Docker expert — image optimization, security hardening, multi-stage builds, orchestration, production deployment.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Docker Expert Advanced Docker containerization expertise: container optimization, security hardening, multi-stage builds, orchestration patterns, and production deployment based on current industry best practices. ## When to use Use this skill when writing, optimizing, or reviewing Docker setups — Dockerfiles, `.dockerignore`, Docker Compose, multi-stage builds, image-size reduction, container security, resource limits, health checks, or production container deployment. ## When NOT to use (recommend switching and stop) If the issue requires ultra-specific expertise outside Docker, recommend switching and stop: - Kubernetes orchestration, pods, services, ingress → kubernetes-expert (future) - GitHub Actions CI/CD with containers → github-actions-expert - AWS ECS/Fargate or cloud-specific container services → devops-expert - Database containerization with complex persistence → database-expert Example to output: "This requires Kubernetes orchestration expertise. Please invoke: 'Use the kubernetes-expert subagent.' Stopping here." ## Workflow …

How to install
mdr add higoralves/orc/docker-best-practices@sha256:ec6ab661987eff0aThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261020.7a1f356, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
