Add a rejection rule to a Cratis Arc command or query in a Node.js TypeScript server with Arc for TypeScript — choosing between @field shape, authorization, ConceptValidator, CommandValidator, QueryValidator with an arguments model, ModelValidator, readModelForValidation, and rejected()/denied() from provide() or handle(); the ruleFor vocabulary, which rules are copied into generated proxies, the ValidationResult helpers and validation(), severity filtering and the X-Allowed-Severity cap, and…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Validate an Arc command or query in TypeScript (Node.js server) A rule in Arc for TypeScript lives where the information it needs is available, and as early as that allows. Validators run before `handle()` and also answer on the command's `POST <route>/validate`, so a form can ask before the user submits. Every rejection comes back as a `ValidationResult` with a message and the member it concerns — never as a thrown error. Arc for TypeScript is a **source preview**: `@cratis/arc.core` and the other server packages are not published to npm, and the API may change. The published `@cratis/arc` client is separate; it runs the client-safe rules the proxy generator copies into generated proxies. Setup is in `cratis-arc-command-typescript`. ## Verified product sources Verified against `Cratis/Arc.TypeScript` tag **v0.57.2** (GitHub pre-release; server packages 0.57.2, not on npm), reading `Source/Core/validation/**` (including `index.ts`, `ValidationResult.ts`, `Severity.ts`, `RuleBuilder.ts`), `Source/Core/commands/Outcome.ts`, `Documentation/commands/command-validation.md`, `validation-severity-filtering.md`, `command-outcomes.md`, …

How to install
mdr add cratis/ai/cratis-arc-validation-typescript@sha256:0ef1f7d2def50a16The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261012.8a4854a, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
