Write the write side of a Cratis Screenplay `.play` model — the `command` block and its `identifier`, `reads`, `validate`, `authorize`, `produces`, `handler` and `concurrency` clauses, plus `event`, `constraint`, `policy`, `persona`, `concept`, `type` and `seed`. Use when declaring or changing a command, an event shape, a validation or authorization rule, an append-time constraint, or a strongly-typed value in Screenplay. Do not use for projections, queries, screens, captures or reactions.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# The Screenplay write surface Read [preferred syntax](../cratis-screenplay-toolchain/references/preferred-syntax.md) when writing or reviewing `.play`. Everything that changes the system: the `command` that expresses intent, the `event` it appends, the rules that can refuse it, and the strongly-typed values they are all built from. ## Locate the model Look first for the project's existing `.play` files: their folder is the model. For a new model, check `Source/` or `src/`, else use `Screenplay/` at the repository root. Never put a model under `.cratis/` or hand-copy it between repositories. `cratis ai install` manages `.cratis/ai/`, never model files. Keep explanatory Markdown in project documentation; `.play` is the single flow model. ## Product sources Tool versions: toolchain `SKILL.md`; sources below. How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
