Use when someone asks for an interactive learning lab or simulation where they change a variable, drag parts, or explore a model and see the result.

# Lab A lab is a page that makes the learner **think with the idea**: predict, manipulate, explain, apply, and then proves what they can do without help. The learner changes a variable, drags parts or explores a model and sees the result. A plain diagram or concept map to understand a topic belongs to `tutor` or `teach` with `references/visual-teaching.md`. A beautiful page that the learner reads and clicks through is not a lab; it's a brochure. Every element must either (a) make the learner generate something, (b) give feedback on what they generated, or (c) carry a variable of the concept. Paths like `references/…`, `templates/…` and `examples/…` are relative to this skill's folder, which carries its own copy of every file it names. Other Myelinate skills are siblings (`../tutor/SKILL.md`) and are installed as their own skills too. If a file is missing from your copy, fetch it from `https://raw.githubusercontent.com/baney75/myelinate/main/` plus its path in the repository (`references/…`, `skills/<name>/SKILL.md`); if you can't fetch, work from this file and the router's core rules. …

How to install
mdr add baney75/myelinate/lab@sha256:b7abf1a0c41cb57aThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261101.decb291, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
