Operate the flywheel framework from any role — human or agent. Use when you want to install flywheel into a repo, validate it is healthy, understand its state, or drive the loop (plan/brief/dispatch/review/correct-or-land) as an operator rather than as a worker. The CLI implements the whole loop except creating and resuming tasks: init, config, log, state, run (through the opencode, claude or sim adapter), validate, inspect, verify, factory, staff, cost, stats, next, status, handoff, trace…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Flywheel Operator Flywheel is a durable orchestrator-to-worker loop. **Any agent — or a human — can drive it.** The CLI is the deterministic substrate; the skills are the judgment layer. You are the operator: you decide what runs, who runs it, and whether it landed. The command table below implements [protocol v1](../../docs/PROTOCOL.md). ## What the CLI implements today The table below lists every command `flywheel help` prints, kept in sync with the registry (a doc test fails the build if a command is missing here). Only `flywheel plan`, `retry` and `artifacts` are not built yet; the rest of this skill's manual workflow explains what to do until those three land. | Command | Status | What it does | | --- | --- | --- | …

How to install
mdr add suzworx/flywheel/flywheel-operator@sha256:4cd627779b1e174cThe line at the top of this page pins the label v0.78.1 # x-release-please-version, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
