Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# DRY Skill ## Overview DRY — **Don't Repeat Yourself** — is one of the most misquoted principles in software engineering. It is *not* a rule about avoiding repeated lines of code. It is a rule about avoiding repeated **knowledge**. Andy Hunt and Dave Thomas defined it in *The Pragmatic Programmer*: > Every piece of knowledge must have a single, unambiguous, authoritative representation within a system. The unit DRY cares about is a *decision* — a business rule, an algorithm, a wire format, a magic constant, a security policy. When the same decision is encoded in two places, the system has two sources of truth that will inevitably drift. Two lines that happen to look the same but encode unrelated decisions are *not* a DRY violation. A useful test: **if this decision changed, how many files would I need to edit?** If the answer is "more than one," you have duplicated knowledge. ## Authoritative reference …

How to install
mdr add chrisreddington/flight-school/dry@sha256:bb16243bece9689aThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260523.deb156a, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
