Debug Flight School with Aspire Dashboard telemetry and Aspire MCP tools.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Aspire debugging workflow Use this skill when diagnosing runtime issues in Flight School API routes, GitHub API calls, or Copilot SDK sessions. ## Steps 1. Start the dashboard: ```bash npm run dashboard ``` 2. Start the app: ```bash npm run dev ``` 3. Start Aspire MCP in dashboard mode: ```bash npm run aspire:mcp ``` 4. Use Aspire telemetry tools: - `list_resources` for service health - `list_structured_logs` for error diagnostics - `list_traces` for request timelines - `list_trace_structured_logs` for trace-level logs ## Notes - `dashboard` uses `--allow-anonymous`, so run it on local trusted machines only. - Prefer trace inspection when debugging Copilot SDK latency (`sendAndWait`, streaming first token, tool calls). - Prefer structured logs when validating GitHub API failures and rate-limit headers.

How to install
mdr add chrisreddington/flight-school/aspire-debugging@sha256:18f5df3470f0bccdThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260521.85a9cc1, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
