Use whenever you are planning, executing, or finishing any non-trivial architectural change — multi-file refactors, cross-cutting cleanups, performance work, new subsystems, or anything where "wrong design" costs more than "wrong implementation". Convenes a six-reviewer panel (three models × two personas) that critiques the plan before code lands and re-reviews every milestone until consensus. Trigger phrases: "architecture cleanup", "design review", "panel review", "rubber-duck this plan…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Multi-model panel review skill > One model is one opinion. Three models with two personas each is six > reviewers with different priors, training data, and blind spots. > Use the panel for any change where "wrong design" costs more than > "wrong implementation". This skill codifies the iterative review-and-fix loop that has caught HIGH-severity cache-poisoning bugs, MED-severity invariant drifts, and LOW-severity TSDoc / test-coverage gaps before they shipped. It is the default workflow for non-trivial architectural changes in this repo. ## When to convene the panel Convene when **any** of the following is true: - The change touches a public contract (route handler shape, exported type, env var, on-disk format, cache key). - The change spans more than one architectural seam (Web / API / Worker / Runtime). - The change introduces or modifies a cross-cutting invariant (multi-tenant isolation, fingerprint equality, monotonic-add semantics, capability composition). - The plan involves more than ~3 files or more than ~200 LOC of production code change. - You catch yourself thinking "I'm not sure if this is the right …

How to install
mdr add chrisreddington/flight-school/panel-review@sha256:532a5b4c4da795afThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260601.3abef12, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
