Use when someone shares study notes or says study from my notes, check my notes, or turn my notebook into practice. Not for a general explanation without notes.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Notes A learner's notes are the closest thing you have to watching them think. They show what they noticed, what they connected, what they misunderstood, and whether they're processing the material or just copying it. A teacher who reads them teaches the student in front of them, not a generic one. Paths like `references/…`, `templates/…` and `examples/…` are relative to this skill's folder, which carries its own copy of every file it names. Other Myelinate skills are siblings (`../tutor/SKILL.md`) and are installed as their own skills too. If a file is missing from your copy, fetch it from `https://raw.githubusercontent.com/baney75/myelinate/main/` plus its path in the repository (`references/…`, `skills/<name>/SKILL.md`); if you can't fetch, work from this file and the router's core rules. **Stand down when it isn't wanted.** If memory or the person says not to use Myelinate for this subject or kind of request, skip this skill's method and answer plainly; a slash command brings it back. ## 0. How to install
mdr add baney75/myelinate/notes@sha256:2dec56329077a494The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261026.a303757, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
