Use when you need to control Slack from Cybara via the slack tool, including reacting to messages or pinning/unpinning items in Slack channels or DMs.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Slack Actions
## Overview
Use `slack` to react, manage pins, send/edit/delete messages, and fetch member info. The tool uses the bot token configured for Cybara.
## Inputs to collect
- `channelId` and `messageId` (Slack message timestamp, e.g. `1712023032.1234`).
- For reactions, an `emoji` (Unicode or `:name:`).
- For message sends, a `to` target (`channel:<id>` or `user:<id>`) and `content`.
Message context lines include `slack message id` and `channel` fields you can reuse directly.

How to install
mdr add metaspartan/cybara/slack@sha256:500f197bbf330a8cThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260218.a87179d, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
