Wires, repairs, refreshes, or inspects a repo's dotbrain Brainspace by driving the dotbrain CLI. Use when starting a project under dotbrain, attaching an existing repo to a Brainspace, repairing wiring in a main checkout or linked Git worktree, reconciling agent workspace resources after an upgrade, or checking bootstrap expectations.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Wire Brain Connect an adopter repo to its private Brainspace through `dotbrain`. The CLI owns wiring, scaffolding, resource reconciliation, hooks, skill links, agent delivery, and beads setup. Agents using this skill choose the right CLI command, inspect the result, and hand Brain content changes to the skill that owns that content. ## Choose the wiring branch For every checkout, check installation below, then choose a CLI command. When attaching or repairing a linked Git worktree, read [Worktree attachment](references/worktree.md) for its shared state and verification rules. `dotbrain wire` discovers the main checkout through Git metadata; the CLI creates the worktree's wiring. ## First run Before choosing a CLI command, check whether `dotbrain` is on `PATH`. If it is, continue without installing anything. If it is absent, this is a machine that has never run dotbrain — so resolve the dotbrain home before installing anything. ### Ask before creating a dotbrain home Check for the dotbrain home: `$DOTBRAIN_HOME` when set, otherwise `~/dotbrain`. If it already exists, say nothing and move on to the installer. …

How to install
mdr add arminzou/dotbrain/wire-brain@sha256:eb9fb0f657e304f4The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261017.5b1062d, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
