Coordinate complex work with orchestrators, supervisors and workers, explicit authority, bounded tasks and model capability allocation. Part of the Northstar package. Codex-native and usable by other agents.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # Codex subagents Use this skill in other agents too; the Codex name is not a usage restriction. Follow the bundled [host adaptation guidance](../northstar/SKILL.md#use-with-other-agents). Bundled Northstar skill. Default to one implementation owner plus an independent acceptance reviewer. Do not spawn subagents just because this module is available or a task could theoretically be split. First decide whether parallel work is likely to materially improve speed or quality after accounting for coordination, integration, token cost, and tool limits. How to install
mdr add stancsz/northstar/codex-subagents@sha256:7ec2b07c98ed381dThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260929.ff7b1c6, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
