One agent the whole team @mentions in Slack, sitting on top of your GTM repo and workspace: it answers from context, cadence and live runs, turns change requests into pull requests, captures a thread worth keeping into the cadence log and context, and hands work to the other deployed agents only after a go in the thread. Triggers: "let the team ask our GTM agent from slack", "one agent on top of all the others", "a slack bot that knows our repo", "ask cargo from slack…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Ask Cargo ## The outcome Anyone on the team types `@Cargo` in a Slack channel and gets the agent that knows the whole GTM repo and the workspace behind it. One thread is one conversation, and anyone in the thread can steer it. Four kinds of request land: 1. **Questions.** "What is our ICP for fintech?", "did the scorer run last night?", "what did we spend on enrichment this week?". It answers from `context/`, `cadence/`, `infra/` and read-only `cargo-ai` calls, and cites the file or the command. 2. **Changes.** "Add Ramp to our competitors", "tighten the disqualifiers". It makes the edit on a branch and replies with a pull request. One thread, one pull request; a follow-up in the thread is another commit on it. It never merges and never deploys. 3. **Work.** "Re-score Acme", "run the weekly plan now", "enrich these five domains". It proposes what will run, over how many records, at what live price, and does nothing until someone replies `@Cargo go`. When a deployed agent owns the job (the scorer, the planner, the standup) it hands the request to that agent with `cargo-ai ai message create` instead of redoing it. …

How to install
mdr add getcargohq/gtm-skills/ask-cargo@sha256:37daa6aacfad2192The line at the top of this page pins the label v0.2.1, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
