# Create a GTM skill This is an authoring skill for people writing this repo. It is not a customer skill and does not install with `npx skills add`. The canonical copy lives in `.agents/skills` so Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor all load the same file (the last two via symlink). Read `CONTRIBUTING.md` first. That file is the contract the validators enforce; this file is the procedure. One folder at the repo root is one customer skill. Install path: `npx skills add getcargohq/gtm-skills/<name>`. ## 1. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
