Turns existing requirements, design discussions and technical materials into a self-contained technical review document. Use when a technical design goes to people for review.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. What the file says
Turn existing requirements, design discussions and technical materials into a technical design for people to review. Goal: by reading only this one document, a reviewer can understand why the work is needed, how the design works, what needs to change, and which trade-offs need a decision. The author knows everything the document leaves out, so the author's own reading cannot find where a reviewer gets stuck; step 5 puts fresh readers in front of the draft before the user reads it. ## 1. Gather the basis Prefer the authoritative sources the user specifies, and keep the requirements, boundaries and design decisions already confirmed. - Design review: base the document on the confirmed requirements and design discussions, and verify current capabilities and constraints against the code. - Explaining an implementation: when the user explicitly asks you to present a design that is already implemented, base it on the actual code at the specified version. - When materials conflict, separate current facts, confirmed decisions and proposals still under discussion, and state the conflict and its impact. …
