Converges a conversation and its materials into spec.md, the core decisions; when delivery will be automated, also writes verify.md, the acceptance requirements. Use after discussion and clarification are finished, including when the user confirms core-grill's decision summary.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Converge a discussion into a spec, and write the acceptance requirements Deliver two self-contained Markdown files. Write spec.md in the language of the decision summary (or of the user's request when there is none), unless the user or the repository's documentation rules specify another language; write verify.md in the same language as spec.md, also when the spec was given to you: - **spec.md** "<topic>: Core Decisions and Constraints": what has been chosen and what must be satisfied. A reader who skims it grasps the most important changes; a reader who reads it closely can judge, item by item, whether a design or an implementation matches what was agreed. - **verify.md** "<topic>: Acceptance Requirements": what it takes for an implementation to count as meeting the spec: where to operate, what results to observe, and what evidence to keep before declaring it done. …

How to install
mdr add coder-xieshijie/dev-skills/core-spec@sha256:70921cd5faa224f6The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261015.250087f, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
