Turns an MR, PR or code diff into a reading guide for people, with the important decisions first and then a reading route into the source code. Use when someone needs to understand a change and know where to focus.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # MR for Human Help the reader understand the change, decide only on what matters most, and find the matching source code. By default, write Markdown in the user's language. ## Three core principles 1. **The pyramid runs throughout.** The whole guide, each section and each key point give the conclusion first, then the necessary explanation and evidence. The first screen holds only the items that most affect whether the requirement is met, whether the scope of the change is reasonable, and the key trade-offs; when a person needs to decide, give a recommendation, its impact and the concrete options. Facts that can be established are established by the agent, and ordinary implementation details are expanded in the lower layers; when nothing awaits a decision, say so explicitly. …

How to install
mdr add coder-xieshijie/dev-skills/mr-for-human@sha256:860b237a707e73d3The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261007.9c159d4, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
