Draws hand-drawn style technical diagrams (architecture with trust zones, request and data flows, sequences, lifecycles) as an editable HTML source and a layout-checked PNG for design docs, PR descriptions, reviews and slides. Use when asked to draw, redraw or fix an architecture, flow or sequence diagram (架构图, 流程图, 时序图), to plan the figures of a design document, or to keep several diagrams of one system consistent.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Tech Diagram Each figure is one HTML file: rough.js hand-drawn shapes with serif print text, drawn by a `main()` function on top of a fixed set of helpers. `scripts/render.mjs` turns it into a PNG and checks the layout. The look is fixed so that every figure of a system, across documents, reads as one set. ## Rules that hold throughout 1. **Draw only what the sources say.** Every node, arrow and boundary comes from the user's text, a document they gave, or code and configuration you read. Write them into the `// Sources:` comment at the top of `main()` (`file:line`, document section, or "user"). Do not complete the system: a component the sources do not mention stays out, however likely it is to exist. When the diagram describes code, read the code behind each arrow; when the text and the code disagree, draw what the code does and tell the user where they differ. Within the figure's question, draw all of what the sources say: every part of a container the figure opens, and every path the text names, or the figure or table that has it. …

How to install
mdr add coder-xieshijie/dev-skills/tech-diagram@sha256:c26cfa036d0b1f5dThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261028.abf7ed2, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
