# AGENTS.md Instructions for AI agents that edit this repository. People who edit by hand follow the same rules, and the maintainer's review checks more than this file lists. `CONTRIBUTING.md` says how an outside change arrives, as an issue or a pull request, and which changes need an issue first. When a request conflicts with a rule here, stop and name the rule instead of working around it. ## What this repository is Chappie is a library of Agent Skills for lifecycle marketing, CRM and retention in B2C and B2B: the program a business runs on people already in its database. Every file except the validator in `scripts/` is Markdown, and nothing needs a build step. The product is operating detail: steps in order, entry and exit conditions, thresholds and timings, edge cases, failure modes. Hold every change to one test: after reading the file, a practitioner knows what to do on Monday morning. A file that names a framework and stops there does not belong here. A user's agent reads only the folders of the skills it has installed, never the files at the root.
