Make an email template hold up in the inboxes, apps and modes its author never looked at. Use when a template is built or changed, a message looks right in the editor and broken in an inbox, images are off, or dark mode or mobile breaks it, or you ask what click rate is normal per app. Not the words (email-copy) or inbox placement (deliverability).
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# email-design This skill answers one question: **what does the reader see when the message opens in their environment, and does the template hold the job, the action and the required elements in places the author never looked.** The words are `email-copy`, and whether a provider accepted the message and where it filed it is `deliverability`. This skill owns the template and how it shows up: the frame and the blocks every message is assembled from, their behavior across mail clients, devices, color schemes, images that did not load and clipped messages, and the states they fall into when there is nothing to put in a block. What sets this work apart from the rest of the library opens `references/email-design-vocabulary.md`. The unit is **a template version read in an environment**: the pair of version and environment. Each half has its own field, and both are set before any outcome exists. The version identifier is stamped on the send; the environment comes from the person's interactions before that send. The unit is larger than a message, since one version carries thousands of them, and smaller than a program. …

How to install
mdr add 808enzo/chappie/email-design@sha256:12661026930e70c9The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261009.bc3e12b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
