Decide what one email says, what it promises and what it asks for, and whether the words made the difference. Use when writing or rewriting a message or a subject line, a send carries two jobs, clicks land on the wrong link, or a draft needs a go or no-go review. Not who receives it (email-program) or the template (email-design).
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # email-copy This skill answers one question: **what does this message say, and how do you know the words were the reason it worked or failed.** Not who receives it and not when it goes: those belong to the neighbors. What lives here is the content of one message: the job it does, what it promises, the facts it stands on, what it asks for, and how all of that is checked before the send. What sets this work apart from the rest of the library opens `references/email-copy-vocabulary.md`. The unit is **one message, held to one job and one action**: the pair of "what is promised here" and "what is asked for here", read on a single email. It is smaller than a program and larger than a phrase. A single word in a subject line is not the unit, and this skill ships no rules about individual words. A message that promises two things and asks for two different actions is not one unit but two, and it gets split before it is written rather than during the edit. How to install
mdr add 808enzo/chappie/email-copy@sha256:c0de6a4fcfc76d3bThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261009.fdb6855, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
