push-notifications SKILL.md skillA
push-notifications from 808enzo/chappie is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.
mdr add 808enzo/chappie/push-notifications@git:20261009.fdb6855Pins git:20261009.fdb6855 in mdr.lock. Pin the fingerprint instead.

Decide who can be reached by push, through which endpoint, and what each send costs the permission. Use when planning when to ask for notification permission, opt-in looks fine but reach keeps shrinking, people switch notifications off unnoticed, or one promo lights up every device. Not in-app messages (in-product-messaging).
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# push-notifications This skill answers one question: **who can be reached by push, through which endpoint, and what each send does to the permission the channel stands on.** Not what the message says, and not when a flow fires: those belong to the neighbors. What lives here is the construction of a channel with an operating system or a browser standing between the sender and the person. The system grants the permission, sometimes lets you ask only once, hides the refusal, and decides what to show. What sets this work apart from the rest of the library opens `references/push-vocabulary.md`. The unit is **the endpoint**: one installed app on one device, or one browser profile on one site. The operating system or the browser keeps its permission to show notifications, whether granted, refused or not yet asked for, and a push service issues it an address. It is smaller than a person and does not match a message. A person can have several endpoints; an endpoint can have no person, as with anonymous web push or an app before sign-in. Before your first step, read `.agents/chappie-context.md` in the project if it exists. It records the …

How to install
mdr add 808enzo/chappie/push-notifications@sha256:c280de7e5ba5df3cThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261009.fdb6855, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
