Run SMS, RCS, WhatsApp and similar channels where a carrier or platform stands between you and the person. Use when choosing the sending number, a template needs approval or gets paused, an order update and a promotion share one number, STOP must work everywhere, or sends are billed per segment. Not the conversation after a reply (chat-and-bots).
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # messaging-channels This skill answers one question: **how a channel is built when a carrier or a messaging platform stands between the sender and the person: which registered origin a message leaves from, what that origin's standing lets through, what form the message has to take to be accepted, what it costs, what status comes back, and what a reply to it does.** Not which event earns a message, and not what the message says: those belong to the neighbors. What lives here is the construction of a channel with a gatekeeper in the middle. What sets this work apart from the rest of the library opens `references/messaging-vocabulary.md`. The unit of the first mechanic is **the origin**: a registered number or name a message leaves from. A ten-digit number under its registered campaign, a short code, a toll-free number, an alphanumeric sender ID, a WhatsApp business phone number inside its portfolio, an RCS agent. Standing, limits and pauses live on it. The unit of the second is **the send**: one message to one phone number from one origin, in one class. The unit of the third is **the inbound**: a keyword, a tapped button or free text that arrives on an origin. …

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
